Belda Gangadhar Academy is one of the higher secondary-level institutes, affiliated with WBBSE up to Class X, WBCHSE up to Class XII with subjects in Science, Arts, and Humanities streams, and WBSCVET for technical education under the Government of West Bengal. It is one of the oldest schools in the state, striving to provide quality education in a caring environment that balances academic excellence and the development of life skills. This empowers learners to achieve their potential and meet the challenges of a dynamic society as responsible citizens.

Rai Saheb Gangadhar Nanda founded the institution to spread the light of education among the people of Belda. In 1919, it was recognized by the British Government as a school, marking the beginning of its legacy. From that day to now, nearly 100 years later, the school continues to uphold its mission of education and growth.

    Establish School
    Establish School by Raysaheb Gangadhar Nanda, the landlord of Mukhberia, Purba Medinipur on 02 january,1919.
  • 1929
    Death of Gangadhar Nanda
    Gangadhar Nanda breaths his last.
  • 1950
    Making strat Board
    To managing the school under a systemetic rule in 1950 first establish a strat bord named 'Mukhberia Strat Agencies'.
  • 1954
    Handover from Birajacharan Nanda
    Almost after 25 years of Birajacharan Nanda.
  • 1960
    HM Binodbihari Bhattacharya.
  • 1961
    Started Class-XI
  • 1962
    building start
    At first there build the office and some class room.
  • 1971
    Coming of Shibkali Mishra
    later who have to maintaince liabity as HM.
  • 1976
    Complate Higher Secondary education system
    With adding class xii it achived a grace of HS School.
  • 1983
    Shibkali Mishra got Rastrapati Puraskar
    Yet he retire before, but proud alaways.
  • 1992
    Start the time of Nanigopal Sheet
    Nanigopal Sheet join as a techer to our school.
  • 2014
    Nirmal Vidyalaya Award.
    Yet he retire before, but proud alaways.
